The Sanctuary is founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We believe there is one God, who is Creator & Father of all things and Lord over all creation. That He is an eternal, invisible, omnipresent, almighty Spirit; that He is knowable and understandable and not a mystery. God revealed Himself in the Old Testament to Moses as YHWH (I AM) the self existent one and He is unequal with anyone, indivisible and He is one person. (Isaiah 45:5; Exod 3:14,15; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11; Matthew 11:25; Psalm 90:2; 1 Timothy 1:17; Jeremiah 9:23, 23:24; Genesis 17:1; John 4:24; 1 Peter 1:16; Psalm 103:8; Psalm 145:9; Deuteronomy 32:4; 6:4)
We believe the invisible God was manifest (made visible) in flesh as the Man, JESUS of Nazareth, who is the Son of God, the Christ, and our Savior. (Matt 28:19, Acts 2:38, 1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 1:3; Matthew 16:16; John 4:42; Colossians 2:9)
We believe JESUS is God’s name and the one name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. In Him (Jesus Christ) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and the name JESUS is the only personal name of God given among men whereby we must be saved. (Matt 28:19, Acts 2:38, 1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 1:3; Matthew 16:16; John 4:42; Colossians 2:9; John 5:43; Hebrews 1:4; Philippians 2:9; Acts 4:12.
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38)
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4)
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11)
